India Launches high risk mission to Mars - Video


India's Mars Orbiter Mission, the country's first interplanetary foray, blasts off from the Satish Dhawan Space center in Sriharikota, India. Rough Cut (no reporter narration).

The Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM), informally called Mangalyaan (Sanskrit: मङ्गलयान, English: Mars-craft) is the Mars orbiter that was successfully launched on 5th November 2013 by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
