Ferrari F430 Coupe

The Ferrari F430 Coupe F1 is as close as the company makes to a mid-priced vehicle, with a retail price tag of $227,000 in the US. The car is a little more aerodynamically sound that some of its predecessors, and has better downforce.

The F430 took a page from the Enzo's book, using the same tail lights and interior vents. They then borrowed from the Testarossa's side mirror. To complete the exterior, Ferrari stole a page from their older vehicles by using ovals on the front that were once found on their racing cars.

Engine: The F430 comes with a 4.3L V8 engine with 483 hp and a top speed of 197 mph. That makes it capable of going from 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds. This is one of the top three 0-60 speeds ever recorded by a vehicle in the history of the Ferrari company.

The engine itself was designed specifically for this model. Standard on the F430 is a six-speed manual transmission, while a six-speed automatic transmission is also offered. This optional transmission is controlled by paddles mounted on the steering wheel.

The Coupe also comes complete with switch mounted on the steering wheel to control the different electronic functions of the car. Also included is a handsome leather interior, and a sleek, low slung body that can be a little difficult to climb in and out of. The F430 Coupe F1 currently finds itself on the market wuth the Audi R8.
