Nyamuragira volcano erupts - DR Congo

Nyamuragira volcano errupts in Virunga National Park, Democratic Republic of Congo. Nyamuragira, Africa's most active volcano, erupted on Sunday night in a spectacular display of spewing lava, smoke and ash.

The eruption, which is still in progress, appears to be of no danger at this time to the surrounding population and the city of Goma, or the mountain gorillas and other wildlife.
